Located along US-6 east of Friend, small concrete slab bridge crosses a marshland along 700 Road.
Built around 1930, the bridge is of simple design. A single concrete slab span sits on concrete abutments. The bridge has virtually no identifying features. This type of bridge often was used to replace wooden trestles, and is exceedingly common across North America.
Curiously enough, there is also no date stamp on the bridge. Most CB&Q bridges have at least some stamp, so this seems unusual.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good condition, still serving traffic years after being built.
The author has ranked this bridge as being minimally significant, due to the common design and lack of identifying features.
